B i o g r a p h y
Tarek Refaat is a Classical Pianist, who has been playing piano since the age of 10, and participated in several competitions in school and university, gaining several prizes.
He won the first prize in Ain Shams University Competition of Classical Music in 1995 & 1996.
He took his advanced piano lessons at Cairo Conservatoire in 1996 with the piano professor Mahmoud El Kalaawy, and in 1997 with the piano professor Mostafa Garranah.
He Joined the Talents Development Center in Cairo Opera House, from 1998 to 2003 continuing his advanced piano lessons with the professor Mostafa Garranah.
He obtained the Musical Profession Syndicate since 2003 after passing their exam.
He obtained the Diploma Certificate in Piano Performance from the Royal Academy of Music (ABRSM).
He performed several musical concerts in Cairo Opera House and in Sakyet El Sawy.
He is now continuing his musical concerts and recordings, as well as giving his advanced music lessons.
